Since 1979, Piccolo Spoleto has been Charleston's love letter to the arts — the official outreach companion to Spoleto Festival USA.
Where Spoleto brings the world's most acclaimed artists to Charleston, Piccolo turns the lens around: showcasing the Southeast's own composers, choreographers, painters, poets, and performers across more than 500 events — most of them free.
Produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, the festival sprawls across historic squares, neighborhood parks, sanctuary churches, beachfronts, and front porches. Every corner of the Lowcountry becomes a stage.
See you in Charleston.
